Meditation: Transform Your Mind

Meditation is a powerful habit.

What is meditation?

Simply the act of sitting with your thoughts. 

Very few people can sit alone with their thoughts without feeling extreme discomfort.

The benefits of meditation:

•Less reactive/emotional

•Calm/internal peace

•Lowers anxiety and mental chatter.

•Intense focus (but with ease)

Meditation is simply the act of doing nothing but sitting in one place with you thoughts.

If you do this regularly you will condition yourself into a state of peace.

  1. I’ve been meditating for about 8 months straight now and haven’t missed a day. I initially started with 30 minutes a day and progressed to 35, to 40, and to 45 minutes a day in the early mornings. It makes a profound difference to your mental health. Less clutter, less distracting thoughts, and a much improved sensation of overall well-being. I’m calmer, happier and far more relaxed. Anxiety is never an issue. Stress levels are much lower. I meditate for about 35 minutes a day now and can’t imagine going back to a life without it.

    If you’re reading this and are doubtful of meditation’s mental health benefits – stick with it. Aim for at least 30 minutes a day. Be somewhere quiet, and make sure you sit up so you don’t drift off. Be present. It will work for you.
